Integrations in n2x.io refer to the ability to connect various tools and services with the platform, enabling them to work seamlessly together. This streamlines your workflow and allows you to leverage the power of n2x.io alongside the applications you already use.

You can find the available integrations on the Account page by selecting the Settings option:

GitHub

Streamline your infrastructure management with the n2x.io GitHub integration. Implement GitOps workflows to automate n2x.io configuration.

Keep your automation workflows and security policies organized as YAML files within your private GitHub repositories. n2x.io automatically translates these files into security policies and workflows or triggers custom actions on your nodes whenever you push changes to your Git repository.

Alerts

PagerDuty

Streamline your incident response by centralizing all n2x.io alerts within your existing PagerDuty workflow. This integration seamlessly forwards alerts from n2x.io to your PagerDuty account, ensuring your team receives timely notifications for critical events.

Configuration Steps:

PagerDuty Setup

  1. Enable PagerDuty Integration:

    • Navigate to the Settings section on the Account page within the n2x.io platform.
    • Locate the PagerDuty integration and click the icon to activate edit mode.

  2. Provide Integration Key:

    • Input your unique PagerDuty Integration Key in the designated field.

  3. Activate Integration:

    • Once you've entered your integration key, ensure the Enable toggle is switched on to activate the connection between n2x.io and PagerDuty.

  4. Save Changes:

    • Click the Save button to finalize the configuration process.

    With these steps completed, n2x.io will automatically forward all alerts to your PagerDuty account, empowering your team to effectively address critical events and maintain optimal infrastructure health.

Notifications

Slack

Enhance your team's situational awareness by receiving n2x.io notifications directly within your Slack channels. This integration delivers general notifications, automation reports, and critical alerts, allowing your team to stay informed and respond to events promptly.

Configuration Steps:

Slack Setup

  1. Enable Slack Integration:

    • Navigate to the Settings section on the Account page within the n2x.io platform.
    • Locate the Slack integration and click the icon to activate edit mode.

  2. Configure Notification Channels:

    • Alerts Webhook: This channel receives critical alerts and high-priority notifications.
    • Workflows Webhook: This channel delivers updates on automation workflows.

  3. Activate Integration:

    • Once you've entered your webhooks, ensure the Enable toggle is switched on to activate the connection between n2x.io and Slack.
