Network Topology
n2x.io allows you to design your own virtual private network topology and segment your infrastructure environments to meet your security requirements according to your operational or compliance needs.
You have three logical, hierarchical components (tenants
, networks
, and subnets
) to build your network topology without dependencies on underlying infrastructure or different technologies you might find in multi-cloud and on-premise environments.
Since those logical components are architectural abstractions, you don't have any physical constraint or boundary to design your topology according to your criteria, no matter where your infrastructure is deployed.
-
Tenants
n2x.io tenants allows you to create logical partitions within your n2x.io account, enabling segregation and isolation of resources.
-
Networks
A network is a component that logically groups smaller network segments called subnets.
-
Subnets
A subnet within the n2x.io network is a logical subdivision that connects devices (nodes).
